Cats Needing Homes in Norton, Virginia
There is no adoption fee but you must spay/neuter the animal and have the pet vaccinated against Rabies within 30 days of adoption. Dogs kept in Wise County must have a County Dog License.- For animals that have not been spayed or neutered: adoption of cats is open to residents of Lee, Scott, Wise, Russell and Dickenson County. If an animal is already spayed or neutered then it is available to be adopted by anyone (even out of state residents). Phone to check that the cat is available and what paperwork is required from you.
- Adopters must sign a sterilization agreement to have the adopted pet spayed or neutered within 30 days of adoption.
- Adopters must return the proof of sterilization paperwork within seven (7) days of dog being spayed or neutered.
- We operate on a first come, first served basis to qualified adopters which means WE DO NOT HOLD ANIMALS and you cannot reserve a cat over the phone or via e-mail.
- Make sure that you are able to take your cat home on the day you adopt it. We will not keep a dog for you after its available day.
